What's in it for you?
Casual Opportunities available | $***** + $3 allowance per hour (inclusive of casual loading)
Penalty rates for shifts after 6 pm & Rotating rosters weekends, and public holidays
Join Ventia's dedicated team supporting Defence personnel at our Bandiana Military Site!
Sharpen your culinary skills under the guidance of a highly experienced Sous & Head Chef
Gain hands‐on experience in a high-volume kitchen environment whilst developing & mastering new recipes
Uniform/PPE provided
What You'll Do
Prepare and serve meals for Defence personnel
Help with catering for events and functions
Work closely with our skilled Head Chef and develop your skills!




Keep the kitchen clean and safe
Work with a great team and support junior staff
Follow food safety standards
About You
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
HACCP Level 2 certification
3+ years' experience in large commercial kitchen environments
Flexible and adaptive in complex, multi-stakeholder settings
Strong planning and organisational abilities
Skilled, enthusiastic, and aligned with Ventia's values
Be an Australian Citizen (for security clearance)
