Stramech Engineering specialises in providing heavy engineering, precision machining and fabrication services to various industries throughout Australia.
Our workshop is located just north of the city in Cavan.
We are looking for a professional energetic person with a positive personality who can interact clearly, professionally and confidently with all members of our team.
Main duties of your new role will include :
Receipt of new Customer supplied Purchase orders, review and accept as necessary
Review all customer supplied workshop drawings, specifications and other internal documentation in order for works to commence.
Set up and planning of new jobs including drawing of parts and procurement of all materials.
Assist with scheduling of manufacturing activities
Co-ordinate subcontract services and assist with internal co-ordination.
Assist with ensuring all Customer and Internal Quality requirements are completed to customer and internal requirements during works including setup of standard quality documentation
Keep records and report on company quotations and pricing, review pricing at regular intervals
Qualifications, skills and experience preferred:
High level of knowledge and use of Microsoft suite of products required, Data processing and accuracy required particularly in Excel
Knowledge preferred in manufacturing techniques and specifications, including Fabrication, machining, paint etc.
Ability to multi-task with accuracy, manage time and prioritise effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experienced in negotiating successful outcomes with all internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in operating in an ERP environment including setting up of new ERP systems
A positive attitude with an exceptional eye for detail
Work extremely well within a small team
Previous experience within a manufacturing workshop environment would be preferred
Australian work rights are essential for this position

Training and mentoring will be provided.
