We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Preparatory School Leadership Team as Deputy Head of Preparatory School – Adventurous Learning.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Preparatory School, the Deputy Head of Preparatory School – Adventurous Learning will provide strategic leadership for the development and coordination of innovative learning experiences across the Preparatory School.
Specifically, the successful applicant will:
Lead the development and implementation of adventurous, experiential and future-focused learning experiences across the Preparatory School.
Develop and coordinate Westminster's Signature Experiences Program aligned with the Westminster Capability Compass.
Foster a culture of innovation by supporting teachers to design engaging, authentic and inquiry-based learning experiences.
Lead STEM and innovation initiatives that develop creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Build strategic partnerships with universities, industry and community organisations to enhance student learning.
Coordinate Preparatory School participation in competitions, challenges, showcases and special events.
Provide leadership and support to specialist teaching staff, promoting collaboration, professional growth and high performance.
Coordinate the planning and delivery of camps, excursions, incursions and community learning experiences.
Ensure effective planning, communication, risk management and operational delivery of adventurous learning programs.
Promote and celebrate the School's innovative learning programs, strengthening engagement with families and the wider community.
About you
You are an inspiring educational leader who is committed to excellence in teaching and learning and thrives on creating opportunities that make a lasting difference for students.Is recognised as operating at a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher level.
You will bring:
Demonstrated success leading innovative curriculum initiatives within a Preparatory School setting.
Experience operating at a Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher level.
A passion for adventurous, experiential and inquiry-based learning.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, colleagues and external partners.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
A Master of Education or relevant postgraduate qualification will be highly regarded.
