We are seeking a motivated, hands-on,



and highly organisedLibrary Assistantto join our Library team on aPermanent Part-Time (Term-Time)basis, commencingTerm 3, ****.This role is for 22.5 hours per week, term-time only.
The role of Library Assistant is to create a warm and welcoming Library space for the entire College community and to facilitate community engagement in the services of the Library.

What we are looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will havea current positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card)and a working knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System.
As a Library Assistant, you will also have;
Demonstrated library, administration or customer service experience with an ongoing commitment to professional development.
Enthusiastic and approachable personality with high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels.
Experience with Oliver library software is desirable.
Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for libraries and education.
