About the role:
As part of building and growing our KL Design House, we are looking for team members that are creative and highly experienced Interior Designers, who are proactive, results-oriented professionals, who can perform market and trend research, design scalable processes and drive implementation to achieve fast, sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of aesthetics,



an eye for detail, and the ability to translate clients' visions into reality.
You will collaborate with multiple internal departments and report directly to key stakeholders to assist in coordinating all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in-gallery interior design consultations and interpret client briefs
Be flexible to the KL Design House's business requirements
Facilitate client home visits to assist in the styling of their desired spaces
Develop spatial layouts and furniture plans that balance aesthetics and functionality
Curate cohesive material palettes and product selections from the KL range
Professionally present mood boards, layouts, and design concepts
Guide clients through the full consultation journey through to final specification
Collaborate closely with gallery and sales teams in their day-to-day operations
Maintain exceptional presentation standards within the consultation space
Support galleries with in-house sales where required
Able to travel for work related purposes (main location in Bundall with weekly visits to our Logan and Windsor Galleries)
Available to work on weekends
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in interior design, styling, or residential consultation
Strong spatial planning capabilities with a refined eye for materials and finishes
Proficiency in SketchUp,



Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, and external rendering programs such as D5 or Enscape
Confident and professional communication skills with strong client-facing capabilities
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Solid commercial awareness within a retail or consultation-based environment
Relevant interior design qualification (essential)
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Portfolio submission required
