Purpose of Position:To build and actively manage relationships within a portfolio of grower clients across SA.
This will include providing clients with grain market updates, price risk management advice and grain brokerage services.
The role will also include supporting the existing advisory team in its day-to-day operations.The role will be based out of our Adelaide office.
Specific responsibilities and remuneration will depend on the experience of the applicant.
Duties to be performedManage the relationships of a portfolio of grower clients and attract current clients as the Market Check business grows.Educate clients on Market Check's grain marketing strategies, actively manage their positions and develop an understanding of their grain marketing requirements.Understand the domestic and global influences on grain and oilseed markets.Communicate markets, education and execution services to clients.Understand and be proactive across all allocated client positions ensuring all statuses are updated and profiles are accurate in Market Check's CRM system (Salesforce).
Grain price discovery and bid collection on a day-to-day basis as well as broker client's grain into the Australian domestic markets.Articulate market information to the agency and strategy teams.Continue to build the business brand across the SA.Spend time periodically on the road attending grower events to promote Market Check's offering to the broader farming community.
SkillsExperience in the grains industry or commodity markets a preference.
Other experience will be considered.Excellent customer relationship skills.Eager and active to learn and develop key competencies.Agricultural minded with an affinity for markets preferred.Tertiary qualifications preferred in economics, commerce or finance.Pro-active and punctual client servicing skills.Ability to work within a team.Proficient in Microsoft suite of products
