The Role
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Dalkeith Gardens home, in Traralgon to 112 residents.
Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications
Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents
Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required
Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy
Provide guidance and support to the care team,



including Personal Care workers and Enrolled Nurses
About You
Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) and respiration with AHPRA as a Division 1
Good judgement and decision-making skills; able to respond quickly to issues and effectively resolve
The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
