We are currently recruiting for aDirectional Drillerto join the team.
Full time hours on metro projects with the occasional regional project.
Responsibilities include setting up the drill rig, operating the machinery, monitoring the drilling process, and adjusting pressure and speed as needed.
They must also inspect the drill site and its surroundings for potential hazards.
Directional Driller Duties:
Operate drilling equipment to drill boreholes for pipelines, cables, and other underground utilities
Monitor gauges, dials and displays to ensure that drilling parameters are maintained




Calculate and adjust drilling parameters to ensure that the borehole is drilled in the specified direction and at the expected angle
Analyze survey and other data to determine the most effective drilling path
Select the necessary tools and equipment for the job
Maintain and repair directional drilling equipment
Keep detailed records of drilling operations
Mandatory Requirements:
Cert III in Trenchless Technology
Positive physical fitness
Valid HR driver's License
Operating Tickets
2 years' minimum experience in directional drilling
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of safe drilling practices and procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical/ Drug and Alcohol Test
