We now have an opportunity for a full timeLabourerto join their team in Alice Springs.
Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will see you work in minor construction sites, conducting maintenance as well as supporting skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
Work Schedule:Monday to Thursday **********Hrs and Friday *********Hrs (38-hour week)
Essential Responsibilities:
Operating hand and power tools, digging trenches, backfill holes, compacting or removing earth, and mixing, pouring and spreading concrete.
Landscaping, which will include lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging and weed management
Support of trades and other personnel and assist in areas of facilities such as patching painting walls, housing maintenance repairs, outdoor tap replacements, lawn upgrades, door replacements.
Undertake all work in a safe and professional manner including reporting all incidents and hazards as per safety procedures
Complete allocated tasks within required timeframes and maintain compliance with company procedures
Use of computer systems to record and plan work tasks
Other duties as directed by the Vesta Management Team
About You:
Previous experience within carpentry electrical or plumbing trades (highly regarded)
Good communication skills - verbal and written
Strong compliance with safety with a proven history in safe work practices




Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Working at heights (desirable)
Ability to meet deadlines and successfully complete assigned tasks
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze issues and develop solutions to problem
Willingness to conduct background checks, medical, D&A; and police clearance
Drivers Licence
