We are currently looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Gold Coast team.
This will be someone that loves to come up with strategies to win work and work with those around them to achieve, but who still loves to be hands on when it comes to cost planning for repeat and ECI business, and hard dollar tendering.
You will have previous experience working on a broad range of tenders and cost plans, including multi story residential, retail and industrial, anywhere between $5-$150M.
As the preferred candidate you will;
Be proficient in Buildsoft and/or CostX.
Excel at assessing project details and client expectations, on D&C; projects that are not fully documentedExcel at building relationships with local subcontractors and understanding the local marketA strong QS background is highly desirable Work closely with operational team members on tender programs and buildability.Prepare subcontractor packages, the bill of quantities and help own strategies for tender submissions.Conduct post tender negotiationsPrepare contract and costing documentation for the construction teamsHave confidence to be client facing
