About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionateRegistered Or Enrolled Nurse (RN or EN)to join our growing team.
Working alongside our GPs and administrative staff, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality clinical care and supporting preventative health initiatives within the practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building strong patient relationships, working autonomously, and contributing to a collaborative team workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Triage and assessment of patients
Chronic Disease Management support and care coordination
Health Assessments and preventative health activities
Immunisations and vaccination programs
Wound care and dressing management
ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical procedures
Assisting GPs with minor procedures
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Infection prevention and control activities
Sterilisation and autoclave operation
Stock control and clinical room management
Cold chain management and vaccine storage monitoring
Participation in quality improvement and accreditation activities
Patient education and health promotion
About You
The successful applicant will possess:
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical assessment skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A patient-centred approach to care
Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning
Highly Desirable Skills & Experience
Previous experience in general practice nursing highly regarded
Experience usingBest Practiceclinical software
Knowledge of Medicare item numbers and nursing activities within general practice
Experience with Chronic Disease Management programs
Experience completing Health Assessments and Care Plans
Immunisation certification and experience
Knowledge of cold chain management requirements
Understanding of infection prevention and control standards
Experience supporting accreditation and quality improvement activities
Current CPR certification

Essential Requirements
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Or Enrolled Nurse
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current CPR Certificate
Current Professional Indemnity Insurance (if applicable)
