At Heatleys Safety, Industrial & Hardware, we're looking for a proactive and customer-focused
Customer Service Officer to join our growing Canning Vale team.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You'll work closely with customers across
industrial supplies, PPE, tools, equipment, and workwear while supporting a busy and supportive sales team.
This role also has a strong administrative focus, requiring a high level of data entry accuracy.
You'll be responsible for processing customer information, orders, pricing, and product data, so attention to detail and consistency are essential.

The Role
As a key part of the branch team, you'll help deliver outstanding customer experiences while
supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Processing orders, quotes, returns, and transactions accurately
Accurately entering and maintaining customer, product, pricing, and order information while ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail
Building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs
Recommending products across PPE, tools, equipment, and workwear
Supporting sales growth through proactive service and upselling opportunities
Maintaining accurate customer records and general administration
Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve branch goals
About You
You're someone who enjoys helping customers, takes initiative, and thrives in a busy team
environment.
You'll ideally bring:




Experience in customer service, internal sales, or trade/industrial environments
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Ability to process large volumes of information while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Exposure to industrial products, PPE, tools, or workwear (highly regarded)
