About the Role:
We are seeking an experiencedGroups Reservations Supervisorto join the team at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Reservations department while taking ownership of all group accommodation bookings across the hotel.
Working closely with the Sales, Conferences & Events, Revenue, and Front Office teams, you'll ensure every booking is managed accurately, efficiently, and in line with the hotel's operational and commercial objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hotel reservations professional looking to step into a leadership role within a busy, full-service hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Reservations department,



ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency
• Manage all group accommodation bookings, including conferences and events, from confirmation through to arrival
• Coordinate room blocks, rooming lists, payments, inventory, cancellations, and release dates
• Liaise closely with the Sales, Conferences & Events, Revenue, Front Office, and Operations teams to ensure seamless group delivery
• Monitor inventory, group pick-up, forecasting, and availability to maximise occupancy and revenue opportunities
• Supervise, train, and support the Reservations team while maintaining hotel brand standards
• Prepare reports, maintain accurate reservation records, and ensure all booking information is managed efficiently
• Manage VIP reservations, billing enquiries, guest requests, and reservation-related issues professionally and promptly
About You:
• Previous experience in hotel reservations with strong exposure to group accommodation bookings
• Experience in a supervisory or senior reservations role within a hotel environment
• Strong understanding of hotel reservation and property management systems (Opera experience highly regarded)
• Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail




• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
• Commercially minded with an understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and revenue optimisation
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
