Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women's Council is an Anangu-led organisation dedicated to supporting Anangu women, children and families across the Central Desert region.
We are seeking a compassionate and organised Reception and Administration Officer to join our Domestic and Family Violence Service (DFVS).
This role is the first point of contact for women seeking support and plays a vital role in ensuring our service operates efficiently while providing a welcoming, culturally safe and trauma-informed workplace.
About the Role
As the Reception and Administration Officer, you will:
Be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and service providers.
Answer and triage calls through the DFVS Freecall service, taking accurate messages and directing enquiries to the appropriate team member.
Welcome clients to the Alice Springs office with professionalism, empathy and respect.
Maintain reception records and client visit logs.
Coordinate DFVS vehicle and satellite phone bookings.
Manage office supplies, stationery and refreshments.
Maintain a clean, welcoming reception and client environment.
Provide data entry and administrative support to the DFVS Manager and broader team.
About You
You will bring:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to remain calm,
compassionate and professional when supporting people experiencing difficult circumstances.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.
Experience providing telephone or reception services.
The ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse setting.
Experience working within the domestic and family violence sector or with Aboriginal communities will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Competitive salary of $84,****** – $95,****** per annum (pro rata), negotiable based on experience.
