Business Support Administrator PERSOL is one of Australia's largest and longest serving recruitment providers.

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Support Administrator to provide hands-on administrative and operational support across a busy site-based maintenance function within the
resources sector.
Roster: Mon-Fri 38-hour week, 9-day fortnight
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months, depending on client requirements
Pay Rate: $***** p/h + Super
Please note that only people with relevant experience will be considered.
The Role
This role will suit a proactive and highly organised Business Support Administrator who thrives in a quick-paced, operational environment.
You will be supporting a busy maintenance team and playing a key role in ensuring site documentation, reporting, systems and business processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support across the maintenance function.
This will include document management, reporting, meeting coordination, action tracking, purchase orders, work orders, work requests and general business support.
You will be working closely with site teams, maintenance personnel, supervisors and internal stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, deadlines are met and operational requirements are supported.
This is a non-FIFO role based in Cooljarloo, so applicants must be locally based or able to reliably travel to site.
You will also need to be comfortable wearing site-appropriate clothing, including steel-capped boots,
long pants and a long-sleeved shirt.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Manage documentation, reports, registers and business processesPrepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for the maintenance functionCoordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and action trackingFollow up outstanding actions and support completion of key administrative tasksSupport site systems including SAP, DocTrack, CATS or similar systemsRaise purchase orders, work orders and work requests as requiredMaintain safety, business and operational documentationAssist with newsletters, noticeboards and internal communicationsSupport data entry, reporting accuracy and general system updatesLiaise with internal teams and stakeholders to support smooth day-to-day operationsProvide general administrative and coordination support to the Maintenance Manager and wider teamSupport process improvements and ensure administration is completed in line with site requirements
Required Experience
Previous experience in business support, site administration, operations administration, maintenance administration or general administrationExperience within mining, resources, manufacturing, industrial, maintenance or heavy industry environments highly regardedSAP or similar ERP system experience highly desirableExperience using DocTrack, CATS or similar site systems highly regardedStrong administration,
coordination and organisational skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy across reporting, documentation and data entryConfident written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentProactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work independentlyStrong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to liaise confidently with maintenance teams, operations teams, supervisors and internal stakeholdersComfortable working in a site-based environment and wearing site-appropriate PPEMust be locally based or able to reliably travel to Cooljarloo, as this is a non-FIFO role
