Quinns Bakehouse We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker / Pastry Cook to join our growing team in Quinns Rocks.

Annual salary between $80,000 and $85,000, plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities Preparing, baking and finishing a wide range of breads, rolls, cakes, pastries, desserts and other baked products.
Mixing, kneading, proving, shaping and baking doughs and batters according to established recipes and production schedules.
Preparing pastry fillings, creams, icings, glazes and decorative finishes.
Monitoring baking times, temperatures and product quality to ensure consistency.
Decorating cakes and pastries to meet presentation and customer requirements.




Developing and testing new bakery and pastry products where required.
Checking the quality of raw ingredients and finished products.
Operating, cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering ingredients and supplies.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
Minimising product waste and maintaining an organised and clean work environment.
Assisting with daily production planning to ensure products are available to meet customer demand.
Qualification & experience To be successful in this role, you will have: Certificate III or Certificate IV in Baking, Patisserie, or a closely related qualification.
At least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Baker and/or Pastry Cook.
Strong knowledge of bakery production techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Reliable, punctual and able to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
