Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is seeking passionate Lead Educators to join Lowood Early Education Centre (EEC).
Schedule:Monday – Friday, up to 38 hours per week
Location:Lowood
Compensation:Up to $35/hr + Super (depending on position and qualification)
Lead Educator
Lead Educators are responsible for guiding a room with creativity and confidence, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality educational programs.
Responsibilities
Lead curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years
Mentor and support Assistant Educators
Foster inclusive, engaging, and secure learning environments
Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community
Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards
Qualifications & Attributes
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Current Blue Card
Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Assistant Educator
Provide high-quality care and education for children while supporting the room leader and contributing to a collaborative, engaging environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily routines and program implementation for children aged 0–5 years
Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
Help maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment
Build positive relationships with children and families
Work under the guidance of Lead Educators
Qualifications & Attributes
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
Current Blue Card
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Passion for outdoor, nature-based education
