About The Role
The Apprentice Carpenter will become eligible to qualify as a Carpentry Tradesperson after gaining a thorough working knowledge of the carpentry trade through structured on-the-job training, work experience and formal TAFE studies.




The Apprentice will assist the Building Services Team to provide and maintain high quality infrastructure facilities for patient care and staff accommodation throughout West Moreton Health Service.
About You
Ability to undertake manual work and understand technical information.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, prioritise allocated work and meet deadlines.
Ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum of year 12 with passes in Maths and English.
Sound achievements or better in Maths B, Maths C and Physics will be considered favourably.
Possession of a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. *****.
