Arrowfield Stud, located in Scone NSW, is seeking a Farm Hand to join our team to maintain and improve pastures across our properties.
This is a full-time position.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
Responsibilities
This role will suit someone who wants to work outdoor, has an eye for detail and enjoys working unsupervised.
The position is to provide efficient agricultural practices & procedures - continually maintaining and improving standards.
Plant identification and care,
Pasture Maintenance – Seeding, Irrigation, Slashing and Mulching.
General farm Maintenance
Weed identification & control,
Chemical & fertiliser application.
Qualifications & experience
Previous experience with farming and property maintenance is preferred but not essential as practical training can be provided.
Minimum Class C current Driver's License and own vehicle are a requirement.
Experience in the use & handling of Tractors and implements including, but not limited to Slashers, Seed Drills, Fertilizer Spreaders and Spray Equipment.
A current Chem Cert Certificate (desirable)
Ability to work unsupervised.
Be physically fit and prepared for manual tasks.
