The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliableWorkshop Trades Assistantto join our team based at our fully equipped workshop in Bibra Lake.
Working alongside our experienced maintenance team, this role will support the day-to-day workshop operations while providing exposure to the heavy road transport and mobile plant industry.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, duties will include:
General workshop housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment
Cleaning and detailing of plant and equipment
Assisting trades personnel with workshop tasks




Picking and packing parts and consumables
Loading and unloading deliveries
Completing local pick-ups and deliveries using company vehicles
Supporting the productive day-to-day operation of the workshop
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
Willingness to learn and develop within the heavy transport and plant industry
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Good communication and organisational skills
Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment will be highly regarded, however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Essential Requirements
Current Australian working rights
Current Manual C Class Driver's Licence
LF Forklift Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
Desirable:
HR Driver's Licence
Previous workshop, stores, or trades assistant experience
