Sales-Focused Role | Premium Events & Venues
The Fresh Collective is seeking a commercially driven Event Sales Coordinator to join our Queensland Sales team.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, QLD , this role is primarily responsible for managing inbound enquiries, converting leads into confirmed business, and maximising revenue across a portfolio of premium venues including Waters Edge, Riverlife, QLD Museum and other leading event and corporate clients.
This is a sales role, not an event planning position.
The primary focus is on enquiry management, client conversion, and revenue generation across corporate, private, and wedding markets.
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for all inbound enquiries, managing the Queensland sales inbox and phone line.
Your core responsibility is to qualify, respond to, and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, with a strong focus on corporate events, private functions, and wedding enquiries.
You will manage a high volume of event and wedding enquiries, preparing tailored proposals and following through with clients to secure business.
While you will coordinate key booking details, the delivery of events sits with the operations team — your success is measured on response times, conversion rates, and revenue outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all inbound sales enquiries (email and phone), including corporate, private and wedding enquiries
Qualify leads and actively convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
Prepare and present accurate, commercially sound proposals, quotes and contracts
Proactively follow up enquiries to drive conversion and maximise revenue

Maintain clear and skilled client communication throughout the sales process
Conduct site inspections to support conversion of prospective clients
Accurately capture all client and event data within Momentus (or similar CRM)
Collaborate with operations and venue teams to ensure smooth handover of confirmed events
Support the sales team with reporting, administration and pipeline management
About You
Proven experience in a sales-focused role within hospitality, events, or a similar client-facing workplace
Strong track record in handling enquiries and converting leads into revenue
Experience managing wedding and private event enquiries highly regarded
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and closing skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent enquiries
Commercially minded, with attention to detail in pricing and proposal development
Experience using CRM or event sales systems such as Momentus or Priava preferred
Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable working to targets and deadlines
Why Join The Fresh Collective?
Work across Brisbane's most sought-after event venues
Be part of a high-performing, sales-driven team
