Our Customer Experience Team are the customer-facing representatives of the City of Greater Geraldton, taking ownership of each customer interaction to deliver a seamless and high-quality service experience.
This opportunity is offered as a permanent part time position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight on Thursday & Friday (7.6 hour days).

Key accountabilities
Proactively engage with customers and maximise first contact resolution across a range of service channels including face-to-face, email, phone, web chat and social channels.
Promote awareness of the City's services and support customers to confidently access information and utilise self-service options where appropriate and desired.
Efficiently and accurately undertake a range of transactional and administrative tasks in support of the City's processes and specialist teams.
Position requirements
We are seeking applicants who thrive on communication and collaboration.
Candidates should have experience working within a customer focused environment, knowledge or experience in office administration and financial transaction tasks, and a high level of computer literacy.
Attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to dive in and learn about the City's services will be highly regarded.
A National Police Certificate is required for the position.




Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits
The Customer Experience Officer position has a salary starting from $76,072 per annum pro rata.
Up to 21% Superannuation (with superannuation co-contribution scheme)
22 Annual Leave days per annum (pro rata for part time employees)
