We are seeking a casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and busy general practice in Coolangatta.
This position offers approximately ***** hours per week, generally worked across three days.
Flexibility with rostered days is essential, including availability for early starts and shifts through to closing at 6:00 pm on a weekly rotating roster.
However we aim to provide set days depending upon availability that can be discussed during the hiring process.
Following the successful completion of the probationary period, there may be an chance to transition to a permanent part-time position.

You will be supported by an experienced Practice Manager and a welcoming team, with modern systems and a purpose-built medical centre conveniently located in the heart of Coolangatta.
An above-award rate will be offered to the right candidate.
About the role
This is a front-desk, patient-facing position in a busy general practice and includes a mix of reception and general administrative duties.

Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and remain organised in a busy environment
Willingness to learn and ask for assistance when needed
Flexibility to cover additional shifts when other team members are away
Ability to perform the routine physical tasks of the role, including moving lightweight equipment such as doctors' trolleys and unpacking or putting away stationery and supplies
Reliable and committed approach to work
