Working alongside the GPs, nurses, and administrative colleagues, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, supportive, and efficient environment for our practice and local community.
Working Hours & Availability
Role Type:Permanent Part-Time.
Rostered Days:Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Hours:Shifts range between 8:15am – 6:30pm (approx.30hours per week).
Note: This role includes opening and closing duties.
Flexibility:Opportunities for additional hours to cover team leave where available.
Key Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for the surgery, your day-to-day will involve:
Front Desk:Meeting and greeting patients with a friendly, professional demeanour.
Communication:Managing incoming calls, triaging enquiries, and effectively liaising with doctors and nurses.
Administration:Co-ordinating appointments,



processing patient accounts, and receipting payments.
Clinical Support:Ensuring consult rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies and maintaining a tidy, welcoming waiting area.
Skills & Experience
Experience:Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
Software:Proficiency withBest Practiceis highly desirable.
Attributes:Strong initiative, the ability to multitask, and high attention to detail.
Reliability:You must be punctual, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a cooperative team.
