Ignite your allied therapy assistant career with a team that is genuinely built around collaboration and support.
Neurological Physiotherapy Geelong (NPG) is a well-established, highly regarded service providing physiotherapy, exercise physiology and therapy assistant services for people living with neurological conditions, as well as people experiencing vertigo, dizziness, concussion or balance disorders.
You will join a warm, passionate team that values excellence, compassion, respect, curiosity and shared learning.
This role is designed for an allied health assistant who is keen to learn, enjoys being part of a team, and is excited by the opportunity to build skills in neurological rehabilitation.
You will be supported by an experienced team who love sharing their knowledge, with a comprehensive orientation program, regular clinical mentoring, internal training, in-services and an external professional development budget.
Your caseload will consist of people living with neurological conditions, following therapy programs set by the treating Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist, with periodic joint reviews to make relevant changes and deliver streamlined care.
These programs will be performed either in clinic or a community location such as a client's home or a local hydrotherapy pool.
You will also support our comprehensive group-based exercise services for people with Parkinson's disease or balance difficulties.
At NPG, we have a purpose-built rehabilitation facility in South Geelong with a large open rehabilitation space where clinicians can co-treat, collaborate and create a strong sense of community for clients and staff.
Upstairs, we have an entire second level for our team to both work and play.
We support people funded privately and through NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe, Support at Home Packages, DVA and Medicare.
As a key support to our qualified therapists, you will be exposed to a broad range of neurological therapy services, including gait and mobility retraining, falls and balance exercises, aquatic therapy, group exercise classes, and neuro Pilates.
NPG is a rewarding place to work, and our commitment to work-life balance and staff wellbeing has helped us build a close, stable team.
At NPG we guarantee a workplace that is nurturing, fun and creative.
We have regular team wellbeing activities, a personal wellbeing allowance, and offer an additional week of purchased annual leave.
We love to share ideas, learn from one another, have a laugh and enjoy the amazing career of neurological therapy.
Come be a part of our brilliant team!
