About the Health Centre
KapookaHealth Centre & Clinic are approximately 10 minutes outside ofWagga Wagga withintheKapookaMilitary arealocatedat Blamey Barracks.
All soldiers in theArmy completeBasic Training here, known as the "Home of the Soldier".
These healthfacilities support the Army Recruit Training Centre (ARTC).
It has a 50-bed low dependency ward whichoperates24/7.
Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health,pharmaceuticaland physiotherapy.
Health Centre staff maybe requiredto work across Wagga &Kapooka.;
Standard hours of operation aregenerally *********Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groupsrequiredfor weekend and on-call shifts).
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
After-hours,weekendand on-call shifts may be required depending on role requirements and base location.
Whatyou'lldo
Supporting dental procedures through chair-sideassisting
Preparing andmaintainingclinical equipment and treatment areas
Promoting oral health and supporting patient care
Maintaining infection control and hygiene standards
Managing patient records and supporting administrative tasks
What you bring
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification
2 yearschair-side experience in a dental clinical setting
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification
Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards
Great communicationskills with a caring, team-focused approach
