About the Role
As our Category Manager, you'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of our product offering and customer experience across the APCO network.
You'll be responsible for:
Developing and executing category strategies that drive sales and profitability.
Using data and market insights to make informed ranging and merchandising decisions.
Analysing customer trends,



product performance and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
Managing the successful rollout of new products, promotions and initiatives across multiple store formats.
Working collaboratively with Marketing, Operations and suppliers to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
Helping create a fresh, modern and engaging look and feel for both new and refurbished stores.
Continuously reviewing and improving our category performance to ensure APCO remains a market leader.
About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves products and understands what customers want.
You'll bring:
Proven experience as a Category Manager, ideally within FMCG, convenience retail, grocery or QSR.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
Experience managing categories across a multi-site retail environment.
A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
The confidence to challenge ideas, think strategically and solve problems creatively.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
A hands-on approach with the ability to turn ideas into action.
