QB Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivatedDisability Support Team Leaderto join our growing team in Northern Adelaide.
As a Team Leader, you will combine direct participant support with operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services while mentoring and supporting your team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced disability support professional who enjoys leading by example and fostering a positive team culture.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will:
Deliver person-centred supports in accordance with individual support plans and NDIS Practice Standards.
Assist participants with personal care, daily living, community access, and achieving their individual goals.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Disability Support Workers.
Coordinate day-to-day operations within allocated services and assist with shift coverage when required.
Monitor documentation quality, including progress notes, incident reports, and participant records.
Promote safe work practices, quality service delivery, and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Build positive relationships with participants, families, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders.
Identify participant or operational concerns and escalate matters appropriately.
Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and an allocated office day to complete administrative and leadership responsibilities.
Support a positive workplace culture through coaching, communication, and professional leadership.
You will be supported by an experienced Service Manager and our People, Culture & Compliance team through regular supervision, guidance, and ongoing professional development.
About You




You are an experienced disability support professional who leads with integrity, communicates effectively, and enjoys supporting others to succeed.
You will have:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability), Community Services, or a related qualification.
Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability.
Previous experience in a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, Lead Worker, or similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of person-centred practice, safeguarding, and the NDIS Practice Standards.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Confidence using electronic systems for documentation and reporting.
Availability to work up to full time hours.
Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
Current medication administration training
Current manual handling training
Reliable, roadworthy vehicle with current comprehensive insurance and registration (evidence required).
Current right to work in Australia.
Willingness to complete all mandatory training and maintain compliance requirements.
