Become a part of our devoted, multidisciplinary Perioperative team as a skilled and experienced Grade 2 Registered Nurse and embrace the diversity of surgical patients and their Perioperative and Peri-anaestheticjourney.
The division of Surgery, Endoscopy & Anaesthesia Services is responsible for the provision of both elective and emergency surgical procedures The Operating Suites and Day Procedure Units manage patients' admissions pre and post procedural/operative care; theatre or day procedure intervention and post procedural/operative care.

About You
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute hospital setting.
Possess excellent Perioperative clinical skills relevant to the campuses you are applying for.
A commitment to high quality, safe person-centred care.
Must be available on a 7-day rotating roster(including weekend, afternoon and night shifts).
A Postgraduate in Perioperative or Peri-Anaesthetic nursing is highly desirable.

The Joan Kirner Women's and Children's (JKWC) Operating Suite features four advanced operating rooms and a procedure room, delivering care for elective and emergency cases, including diverse day and multi-day procedures.
Ourspecialtiesencompass obstetrics,gynaecology,plastics,orthopaedic, ENT, and general surgery for both adult andpaediatricpatients.
To be successful in this position, you will have:




A minimum of twoyears'full-time or equivalent peri-operative experience.
Recent experience in an operating suite instrument/circulating or anaesthetic/PACU experience.
Experience across obstetrics, gynaecology, plastic, orthopaedic, ENT and general surgery for both adult and paediatric patients is highly desired.
Registered Nurse - Perioperative – Anaesthetics/PACU/Scrub/Scout
Location:Sunshine Hospital Operating Theatre

SunshineTheatre are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with recentAnaesthetics, PACU and Scrub/Scout experience whoare abletowork across both specialty areas.
Sunshine Theatre features six operating theatres, delivering care for both elective and emergency cases, including diverse day and multi-day procedures.
Ourspecialtiesencompass general surgery, plastics, ENT, maxillofacial, vascular, ophthalmology,gynaecologyandpaediatrics.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
A minimum of twoyears'full-time (or equivalent) recent perioperative nursing experience.
Experience across plastic, paediatric, ophthalmology, maxillofacial, ENT, vascular and general surgical specialties will be highly regarded.
Registered Nurse – Perioperative Pool Services - Anaesthetics/PACU/Scrub/Scout
Location:Multiple Western Health sites
Employment Type:Part-Time, Ongoing
Our Peri-Op Pool nurses work across all Western Health Operating Theatres – Sunshine, Joan Kirner, Footscray, Williamstown, BacchusMarshand Sunbury (Day Procedure only).

A minimum of twoyears'full-time or equivalent peri-operative experience in minor and major surgery.
