Green Light Worldwide are currently seeking an Enterprise Architect who will become the trusted advisor for enterprise technology strategy, Azure cloud architecture, AI adoption and technology governance.
You will be heavily involved in developing architecture standards, roadmaps and governance processes whilst providing oversight across cloud, infrastructure, security, applications and collaboration platforms.
The position is responsible for providing enterprise-wide technology strategy and architecture leadership, ensuring technology investments align with business objectives and future state architecture.
Working closely with executive stakeholders and delivery teams, you will help shape the organisation's cloud-first and AI-enabled technology direction while remaining hands‐on in the design and validation of key solutions.
The ideal person will be a natural leader with a passion for cloud technologies, AI innovation and enterprise architecture.
You will be comfortable understanding business, security and functional requirements and translating these into architecture artefacts, standards, roadmaps and solution designs.
You will collaborate closely with technology teams, project resources and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
This is an opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to lead the evolution of Azure cloud services, enterprise applications, security architecture and AI capabilities.
You will influence strategic technology decisions, evaluate emerging technologies, build proof of concepts and drive conversations around cloud modernisation, governance, automation, security-by-design and responsible AI adoption.
The role calls for strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, mature consulting capability and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple business and technology groups.
The ideal person will have a blend of technical expertise across Azure, AI, Security, Infrastructure, Networking, Identity, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and enterprise integration platforms.
Responsibilities:Lead communication of enterprise technology architecture and drive continuous improvement of architecture practices, standards and governance processes.
Review and contribute to cloud transformation,



Azure adoption and application modernisation strategies.
Architecture governance including architecture impact analysis, review and approval of concept, solution and technical designs, and providing architecture guidance to projects and delivery teams.
Creation and continuous improvement of architecture policies, standards, reference architectures and decision records.
Develop usable enterprise-wide strategies, roadmaps and architecture designs that support business objectives and long-term technology direction.
Define, document and socialise capability models spanning business processes, applications, information, cloud platforms, security and technology infrastructure.
Lead the evaluation and recommendation of emerging technologies, cloud platforms, AI capabilities and vendor solutions.
Define and govern Azure architecture including landing zones, identity, networking, security and governance controls.
Lead the identification and evaluation of AI opportunities leveraging Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot and related Microsoft AI technologies.
Provide architecture oversight across infrastructure, networking, security, applications and hybrid cloud environments.
Establish and maintain security-by-design and Zero Trust architecture principles across the enterprise.
Produce and maintain architecture artefacts including high-level designs, low-level designs, reference architectures, roadmaps and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
Mentor and uplift broader technology teams through knowledge sharing, collaboration and architecture best practice guidance.
Requirements:Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture or senior technical architecture roles.
Deep experience with Microsoft Azure including cloud governance, landing zones, networking, identity, security and hybrid cloud architecture.
Experience identifying, researching,



evaluating and recommending current and emerging technologies.
Experience defining and driving architecture governance, standards, policies and best practices across enterprise environments.
Practical experience with AI technologies including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Microsoft Copilot or related AI platforms.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of complex enterprise technology environments.
Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, security and application architecture principles.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and enterprise integration environments.
Experience leading organisations through cloud transformation and technology modernisation initiatives.
Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar will be highly regarded.
Ability to build technology roadmaps, business cases, project plans, investment recommendations and cost models.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive leadership, vendors and technical teams.
Relevant Microsoft certifications including AZ-305, AI-102, SC-100 or equivalent will be highly regarded.
Proven ability to balance strategic architecture leadership with hands‐on technical delivery.
