An exciting opportunity exists for a career minded professional to join the Marion Holiday Park as a Maintenance Manager.
This is a full time position where the successful candidate will work shifts across a 7 day roster – 38 hours per week, with 5 weeks annual leave.
Office hours 7 days 8am – 6.30pm

The Grounds and Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and upkeep of the Marion Holiday Park, ensuring accommodation, facilities, grounds and equipment are maintained to a high standard to provide a safe, attractive and well-maintained environment for an exceptional guest experience.
The Grounds and Maintenance Manager will collaborate with the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
· Recruit, train, induct and manage a team of maintenance staff with a focus on providing total customer satisfaction.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work setting, leading by example, promoting teamwork and a high morale among the staff.
· Liaise with the Operations Manager to co-ordinate duties for grounds and maintenance staff and supervise as necessary.
· Attend weekly meetings with Park Managers to plan and implement projects.
· Liaise with tradespeople and oversee construction and redevelopment projects.
· Assisting at times with onsite building works, accommodation renovations and liaising with Contractors in regard to the Holiday Park's services and facilities.
Skills, Knowledge and Qualities
· Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.

· Excellent knowledge of general maintenance, landscaping and groundskeeping practices.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and delegate effectively.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Flexibility to work hours as required by the Marion Holiday Park.
Special Conditions/Clearances
· Senior First Aid qualification.
· National Police Clearance.
· This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
