The Role
We are seeking a technically capable Senior Surveyor with strong engineering survey experience to join our growing Spatial team and contribute to complex, high-value projects across NSW.
This role will suit a surveyor who enjoys technical variety, complex problem solving and the balance of field delivery, office-based processing and client-facing project work.
Reporting to the Spatial Operations Manager, you will help deliver engineering, industrial, infrastructure and advanced spatial projects, including dimensional control, monitoring, terrestrial laser scanning, LiDAR, UAV survey, 3D data capture and spatial data processing.
You will work closely with clients, engineers, project managers, contractors, fabricators, maintenance teams and our internal GIS and Digital teams to deliver high-quality survey and spatial outcomes across complex project environments.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake and deliver engineering and spatial surveying projects across infrastructure, industrial, energy and related sectors.
Deliver dimensional control surveys for steel fabrication, bridges, materials handling systems and large structural works.
Undertake terrestrial laser scanning, LiDAR,



UAV and aerial survey projects.
Support monitoring, preventative maintenance and deformation survey projects for industrial facilities, infrastructure assets and equipment.
Process, reduce, manage and document survey, spatial and 3D data using relevant industry software.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver accurate, efficient and practical survey solutions.
Maintain strong safety, quality and compliance standards across all project work.
About You
Minimum 5+ years' surveying experience, ideally with strong exposure to engineering survey, terrestrial laser scanning, remote sensing, monitoring or spatial data management.
Demonstrated experience in liaison and delivery within multidisciplinary.
Strong data processing and documentation skills within the AutoDesk, Leica Cyclone and 12d environments.
Degree or diploma in Surveying, Spatial Science or similar.
Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Newcastle region.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Australian driver's licence and construction white card.
