The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Estimator to join our asphalt and spray seal department based at our Wingfield office.
Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, you will be primarily responsible for estimating and quoting activities while building effective customer relationships through reliable communication and high-quality service.
You will also provide day-to-day support to the wider team and manage QA documentation and compliance for jobs and projects, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key responsibilities
Collect and analyse all contract and project information (e.g., traffic control, line marking, truck hire, profiler hire prices) to assist with costing and estimating.
Ensure accurate data entry into the system to maintain current projected pricing for tenders.
Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations




Collaborate with management and operations to communicate project-specific objectives and targets to project staff and crews.
Maintain comprehensive records of all estimations and pricing.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the role.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to market the services of the company.
Exhibit proven organisational skills and attention to detail.
About You
Bachelor's in civil engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in estimating, contract negotiation, administration and project management in road construction or civil contracting industries.
Current Driver's Licence.
Solid analytical and mathematical skills for precise calculations and budgeting.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools (Benchmark Estimating Softwareor similar).
