The Role: National Sales Manager – Packaging
Location: Open to applicants based on the East Coast.
Reporting to the Divisional General Manager, this role leads the national sales function, managing key accounts and contracts and a team of Sales professionals across multiple states.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding new business opportunities, and strengthening key supply and account relationships across the organisation's full product and service offering.
This role plays a key part in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives, while ensuring day-to-day sales operations, pipeline management, and team performance align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing National Sales Team
Manage key accounts and look to grow high level opportunities
Drive revenue growth, profitability,
and achievement of sales targets
Identify and secure new business opportunities across markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Oversee sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM accuracy
Use data and insights to optimise performance and outcomes
Partner with senior leadership to deliver sales strategy and growth initiatives
Support pricing, product mix, and commercial decision-making
Act as an escalation point for key customer matters
What You'll Need
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior sales leadership role
Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing sales teams
Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Experience in packaging or a related industry (highly desirable)
Strong commercial acumen and decision-making capability
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Advanced Microsoft Office and CRM system experience
Experience presenting and delivering proposals at a senior level
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
