Student Administration
The Student Administration Directorate is dedicated to enhancing the student and customer experience by delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient administrative services.
Through robust systems, quality data, and digital self-service solutions, the Directorate provides the essential infrastructure and support that enables seamless interactions and effective service delivery throughout the student journey.
About the Opportunity
This opportunity sits within the Admissions team, a dynamic and customer-focused group responsible for supporting prospective students as they begin their journey with ECU.
The team plays a key role in assessing applications for admission, credit, and recognition of prior learning, while delivering high-quality advice and support through phone and email enquiries.
As part of a collaborative and diverse team environment, you will have the chance to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, build strong relationships with colleagues across the University, and help shape an exceptional experience for future students.
As a Specialist Senior Student Transaction Officer,
you will take ownership of a specialist portfolio area, acting as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for complex admissions matters.
You will coordinate the resolution of complex enquiries and cases, provide specialist guidance and support to colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes, systems, and service delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and making a meaningful impact on the student experience through the delivery of efficient, accurate, and high-quality admissions services.
About you
We are looking for someone to join the team who demonstrates the following capabilities:
Experience in a complex customer-oriented, high-volume transaction processing environment responsible for academic, financial or non-financial type transactions.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to establish priorities, achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Experience in providing specialist advice and support within a team.
A performance-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to act with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, problem solving, analysis and judgement to provide accurate and appropriate outcomes.
