Trainee Sales Consultant
to join our high-performing team in Maddington.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced automotive professionals, receive ongoing training and build a successful sales career with one of Australia's most recognised vehicle brands. Previous automotive sales experience is not required—we're looking for the right attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine ambition to succeed.
What you'll be doing
Learning the complete vehicle sales process with support from an experienced team
Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
Understanding each customer's needs, preferences and buying criteria
Providing detailed information and advice across the Ford vehicle range
Assisting customers with vehicle selection and purchase decisions
Conducting vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives
Following up customer enquiries, referrals and sales leads
Developing new business through proactive customer contact
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available vehicles, features and benefits
Completing sales paperwork accurately and efficiently
Liaising with the Pre-Delivery team to coordinate vehicle handovers
Ensuring every customer receives an exceptional dealership experience




Working towards agreed sales targets as your knowledge and experience develop
What we're looking for
A positive, enthusiastic and skilled attitude
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A strong customer-service focus
The confidence to engage with customers from different backgrounds
Motivation to learn, develop and achieve sales targets
Strong organisation and follow-up skills
Sound computer skills and professional email communication
A current WA driver's licence
The ability to drive a manual vehicle
Previous customer service, hospitality, retail or sales experience will be highly regarded
