An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Enrolled Nurse to join the Harbourside Lodge team at Portland District Health.
You are responsible for delivering safe and effective personal care and clinical care, in accordance with the consumer's needs, goals and preferences to optimise their health and well-being You contribute to an setting that is conducive to person centred care which fosters a culture of consumer engagement and partnership.
About You
Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Able to demonstrate good assessment, problem solving and organisational skills in a clinical setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good computer literacy, including ability to access and utilise organisational IT systems and emerging technologies which are relevant to the delivering clinical care Understanding of opportunities and challenges associated with providing rural health care services

Portland District Health (PDH) provides an integrated health service for the community.

Hospital based Medical and Surgical services, Medical Imaging (Radiology),



Pharmacy and PathologyA 24/7 Urgent Care Centre for emergency treatmentResidential aged care for 30 residents at Harbourside LodgeAn extensive range of primary and community services for the local community
PDH delivers services from a single campus, employs around 470 staff with an FTE of approximately 290, and has an active volunteer workforce.
The People and Culture Unit sits within the Corporate Services Directorate, with other Units including Finance, Building Services, Food Services, Environmental Services, Executive Support, Administration and Health Information.
