About the role
We are seeking an experienced
Chef de Partie
to join the culinary team at Springs Tavern, located in Beechboro, WA. This is a
full-time position
that offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic hospitality environment where craft beer and exceptional food come together. As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for a specific section of our kitchen, ensuring consistent quality, creativity and efficiency in food preparation and presentation. This role is instrumental in maintaining the high standards our guests expect whilst contributing to the overall success of our food and beverage operations.
What you'll be doing
Managing and overseeing your assigned kitchen section (station) with full responsibility for food preparation, cooking and presentation
Preparing and cooking dishes to precise specifications and in accordance with established recipes and plating standards
Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, hygiene and safety at all times, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Training, supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff assigned to your section
Monitoring stock levels and ingredient usage within your station, reporting concerns to senior culinary staff
Managing mise en place and ensuring your station is organised, clean and ready for service
Collaborating with other Kitchen Chefs de Partie and senior culinary leadership to deliver cohesive menus
Contributing creative ideas for menu development and seasonal specials that align with our culinary vision
Responding swiftly and professionally to service demands, working under pressure during peak periods




Maintaining accurate records of food costs and waste management for your section
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent senior kitchen position within a busy hospitality establishment
Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and culinary best practices
Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP principles
Demonstrated ability to lead, train and motivate junior kitchen staff effectively
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
Creative approach to food preparation with a commitment to quality and presentation
Knowledge of portion control, costing and inventory management
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the hospitality industry
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Relevant qualifications or certifications in culinary arts or kitchen management (preferred)
Experience working in a brewery or craft food environment is advantageous
