About the Role
ALRM is recruiting for multiple permanent roles in the criminal practice team.
Practitioners will be representing clients in Magistrates Courts in Adelaide and frequently at Elizabeth.
You will provide high-quality, culturally appropriate legal advice and advocacy, and collaborate with field officers, support staff, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in criminal matters across SA courts.
Deliver culturally responsive legal services.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Contribute to ALRM's mission and law reform efforts.
What You will Bring
Admission as a Solicitor or Barrister in South Australia.
SA Practising Certificate with minimum 2+ years post-admission experience.
Strong understanding of the criminal justice system and its impact on our Aboriginal community.
Commitment to culturally appropriate service delivery.
Excellent communication, advocacy, and organisational skills.
