In this role you will lead a dedicated team, responsible for the
coordination of agendas and minutes, statutory compliance
responsibilities, civic functions, and other key City documentation
including policy, local laws etc.
Experience effectively manage a small team
Demonstrate the ability to interpret legislation
Sound research and analytical skills enabling




interpretation of information
Ability to produce well-constructed and informative
reports, pitched to a level appropriate for a busy local
government
Strong computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft
Office suite of products, intranet and web based software
High level of time management and organisational
skills
Previous experience in Local Government is desirable for this
role, preferably in a governance or senior administration role.

Ability to understand relevant Acts and Regulations
Demonstrated ability to undertake research, problem solve
complex issues, and develop clear and concise briefing notes
and discussion papers with supporting recommendations
Demonstrated understanding of the Council decision making
process, agendas and minutes
Highly developed skills in people management
This position offers a salary from
$111,967 to
$119,224
per annum (dependent on skills and experience),
and:
12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a
further 5%
A variety of health and wellbeing programs including a

health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP)
services
