About Yourkids:
Yourkids Children, Youth & Adult Support Services has exciting opportunities for Support Workers to join our community support team working across the metropolitan Adelaide area. We tailor in supporting clients with behavioural challenges and pride ourselves in the progress we achieve in supporting our clients towards their NDIS goals. About the role:
SCHADS Award Pay level 2.1 Casual
Working as a part of a team to create a safe and proactive environment, the Support Worker provides direct care and support to people with a disability to develop/maintain life skills, access community-based activities and education, display positive behaviours, and expand friendships and other support networks. In doing so, the Support Worker also assists with activities of daily living, including personal care, household tasks and transport.

The support provided by Yourkids occurs across a 24/7 roster. As such, there is a range of shifts available across mornings, evenings, and overnights with both passive and active shifts available.
Support Workers have the opportunity to engage with and learn from a range of stakeholders, which complements their existing skills and knowledge gained through training provided by Yourkids and have access to support from a Service Coordinator 24/7 if required.
To be successful, you need:
Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:
DHS Working with Children Clearance
NDIS Worker Screening Check
NDIS "Quality Safety and You" certificate
Provide First Aid (003)
Administer Medication training
Safe Environments for Children and Young People – "Through Their Eyes" training.
A driver's Licence, comprehensive insurance and a reliable car is mandatory.
