Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff Member to join our client's team.

This facility supports sports field operations and hosts a variety of sporting activities and community events. Working alongside sporting groups, contractors, and the wider community, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring events run smoothly.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a hospitality or customer service background who enjoys working in a quick-paced, team-oriented environment.

Hours: Approximately ***** hours per week.

Availability: Applicants must be available to work weekends and evenings as required, as the majority of shifts are scheduled during these times.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist sporting groups, event participants and visitors.Complete client and group inductions.Prepare and maintain visitor and event information packs.Coordinate group arrivals, activities and departures.Assist with meal service coordination.Collect customer feedback and provide excellent customer service.Perform general administrative duties.Set up and pack down event spaces and facilities within tight timeframes.Respond to customer enquiries and escalate issues where required.Assist with emergency and incident response procedures.Complete general operational duties,



including cleaning and presentation of the facility.Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns in accordance with procedures.

About You

Previous experience in hospitality, events, customer service, tourism, hotels, recreation or sporting venues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Friendly, professional and able to remain calm under pressure.Reliable, flexible and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.Able to work both independently and as part of a team.Positive Blue Card (mandatory).Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
