PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple Supercars events across the season, delivering safe, commercially disciplined and operationally excellent events while contributing to the continuous improvement of fan and event experience outcomes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operational Delivery Excellence
Own the end-to-end planning, execution, delivery and debrief of allocated Supercars events.
Deliver events safely, on time, within approved budgets and to a consistently high operational standard.
Lead stakeholder engagement across government, venues, Motorsport Australia, suppliers, commercial partners and internal departments.
Maintain accountability for event readiness, risk management, WHS, compliance and operational delivery outcomes.
Act as the primary decision-maker for event delivery, proactively identifying and mitigating issues before they impact outcomes.
Hands-On Event Execution
Lead event delivery on-site within a lean, hands-on operating workplace.
Maintain visibility across all critical delivery workstreams including infrastructure, logistics, suppliers, entertainment, activations and support categories.
Work alongside Operations Managers and Coordinators to ensure high-quality execution of event plans.




Lead issue resolution and operational decision-making during build, live event and pack-down phases.
Process & Efficiency Leadership
Drive a structured, process-led approach to event planning and delivery.
Identify and implement operational improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency and event outcomes.
Exercise strong budget ownership through forecasting, cost control, supplier management and proactive identification of savings opportunities.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure contracted services deliver value, quality and operational outcomes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardisation of event delivery frameworks across the season.
Event Experience Contribution
Collaborate with the key internal stakeholders to deliver integrated and consistent fan experience outcomes.
Contribute practical insights and ideas to improve event presentation, fan engagement and precinct activation.
Support the successful integration of commercial, entertainment and partner activations into event delivery.
Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience while maintaining operational feasibility and delivery excellence.
Leadership & Team
Allocate responsibilities and resources across Event Manager, Operations Managers and Coordinators to support successful delivery outcomes.
Provide leadership, coaching and development to team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Build a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on operational excellence and shared success.
Ensure effective communication and alignment across internal teams,



suppliers and key stakeholders.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8 years' experience delivering large-scale, complex events, preferably within the sporting, major events or live entertainment sectors, with demonstrated responsibility for multi-stakeholder environments, significant operational budgets and large contractor and supplier networks.
Proven commercial and financial management capability, including budget ownership, supplier negotiation, procurement oversight, cost optimisation and the ability to make value-driven decisions that support both operational excellence and fan experience outcomes.
Strong planning, project management and organisational capability, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing priorities simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a structured and process-driven approach to event delivery.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and influence stakeholders across government, venues, contractors, suppliers and internal departments.
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency and event outcomes.
