We are seeking a passionate IT Systems Team Leader to join our team at Mark Oliphant College, located in Munno Para, South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic learning community focused on inclusion, wellbeing and collaboration.

What you will do:
Ensure the IT plan provides for a suitable and effective Local Area and Wireless Network.
Ensures the effective and efficient operation of the Local Area and Wireless Network by managing,
coordinating and controlling all the operations of the IT Network.
Enable users to maximise the use, benefit and capabilities of the Local Area and Wireless Network by providing general and specialist guidance, advice and information on development and operational matters.
Ensure the IT Network meets performance expectations and copes with emerging needs by implementing all system enhancements proposals.
Ensure the IT network supports the strategic direction and development of the school by preparing the IT budget and purchasing requirements in accordance with the approved plan.
Contributes to the educational outcomes of students by providing support and resources to teaching staff and students.
Ensure all work performed by IT ancillary staff is in accordance with strategic plans, completed satisfactorily and performed within a safe work environment by managing and coordinating their activities and controlling their operations.
Contribute to the care, general wellbeing and safety of all students by monitoring student behaviour and taking appropriate action in accordance with child protection requirements as described in departmental policies and procedures.
Special Conditions:
Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training must be completed
Employee will be required to be cleared through a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to confirmation of appointment and 5 years thereafter
Rostered hours 8:00am to 4:00pm
Flexibility in working hours is required in line with expectations that TRTs are engaged prior to the commencement of the school day
