The RoleAs an Emergency Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of emergency response capabilities at Osborne. This position operates on a rotating shift roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Flexibility and reliability are essential.
LocationOsborne Naval Shipyard, SA - land based.

Essential QualificationsPUAFIR207 - Operate Breathing Apparatus Open CircuitRIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spacesPUAFER008 - Confine small emergencies in a facilityMSMWHS217 - Gas Test AtmospheresRIIWHS204E - Work Safely at HeightsHLTAID014 - Advanced First Aid & CPRCPCCWHS**** - White CardIntermediate Fire Fighting including: -PUAFIR203 - Respond to Urban Fire -RIIERR201E - Conduct Fire Team Operations and -RIIRIS201D - Conduct local risk control National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)Australian CitizenshipCurrently hold or ability to gain NSSICCurrently hold or ability to gain NV1 security clearance
Bonus Skills and QualificationsCertificate III in Public Safety or Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue Advanced Firefighting Defence or maritime experience
