END USER COMPUTING SUPPORT OFFICER

End User Technology Specialist
to join our Information Technology team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Manager Information Technology, you will play a key role in supporting employees across The Bloomfield Group by providing end-user IT support and managing technology assets throughout their lifecycle.
This role combines hands-on technical support with proactive device lifecycle management, ensuring our workforce has secure, reliable and fit-for-purpose technology. You will work closely with employees, vendors and technology partners to improve user experience, maintain asset governance, support cybersecurity requirements and drive modern workplace initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general IT end-user support across the business
Coordinate end-user device procurement, provisioning, deployment and asset registration
Maintain accurate asset inventories and lifecycle records
Manage hardware repairs, replacements and vendor relationships
Monitor device age, health and support status to identify refresh requirements
Develop and coordinate device refresh and replacement programs
Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities
Ensure devices meet organisational cybersecurity and compliance requirements
Coordinate secure disposal and data sanitisation of retired devices
Support and enhance platforms including Intune, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Mobile Device Management solutions




Assist with the adoption of Teams Phone and contemporary workplace technologies
Produce lifecycle reporting, forecasting and asset management insights
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver efficient technology solutions and continuous improvement outcomes
About You
You will be a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys helping people while maintaining strong governance and technical standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in desktop support, end-user computing, asset management or a similar technology role
Experience managing device lifecycles within a corporate environment or Managed Service Provider
Knowledge of endpoint management platforms including Intune, Microsoft 365 and Mobile Device Management solutions
Understanding of cybersecurity requirements relating to end-user devices
Strong organisational, planning and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience coordinating hardware procurement, warranties and vendor relationships
Ability to analyse asset and technology data to support planning and forecasting
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
Please note this is a site‐based role working Monday to Friday. The role will primarily be based in Ashtonfield, with travel required across our Hunter Valley operations. A vehicle option is included in the package.
