Our client is a growing Australian-owned contractor delivering complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across NSW.
Having recently secured a major Design & Construct municipal wastewater treatment and recycled water project for Sydney Water, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their commercial team.
Position
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in the commercial administration of a major Sydney Water infrastructure project, ensuring contractual compliance throughout the delivery of an NEC4 contract.
This role is ideally suited to a Contract Administrator with previous Sydney Water project experience and a solid understanding of NEC4 contracts. Working closely with the project delivery team, you'll administer contractual documentation, manage commercial processes, support Compensation Events and Early Warnings, and help ensure the successful delivery of this complex water infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
Administer NEC4 contracts throughout the project lifecycle.Manage contractual notices, correspondence and project documentation.Assist with Early Warnings, Compensation Events and change management.Support subcontract administration, progress claims and payment assessments.Maintain commercial registers and contractual records.Work closely with project delivery,
engineering and commercial teams.Assist in identifying and managing contractual risks and opportunities.
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Contract Administrator on major infrastructure or civil projects.Previous NEC4 contract administration experience is essential.Previous Sydney Water project experience is essential.Strong understanding of commercial administration and project controls.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.Water or wastewater infrastructure experience will be highly regarded
