This is a unique opportunity to move from managing crisis to creating lasting change.
You'll support young people aged*****who have experienced significant trauma, abuse and neglect.
These young people have complex emotional and behavioural needs, requiring calm, confident professionals who can build trust, maintain boundaries, de-escalate challenging situations and provide consistent, therapeutic support.
If you've worked in corrections, custodial services or other complex care settings, you'll already understand the importance of structure, resilience, teamwork and professional relationships.
We'll provide the trauma-informed care training to help you apply those skills in a child-focused environment.
Role Details
MultiplePermanent Part-Time (30 hours per week)andCasualopportunities
Multiple homes across the Wagga Wagga
24/7 rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays
We're Looking For People WhoHave experience working in Correctional Services, Juvenile Justice, Youth Justice, Custodial Services, Security or other high-risk care environments (highly regarded)
Remain calm, confident and professional under pressure




Can safely manage challenging behaviours using empathy and strong communication
Build respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
Want to make a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable young people
What You'll NeedDiploma of Community Services (or currently studying), or willingness to enrol
Experience working with people with complex behaviours (highly regarded)
Understanding of trauma-informed practice or willingness to learn
Working With Children Check
National Criminal History Check
Current NSW Driver Licence
Access to a Comprehensively Insured Vehicle
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
