Nepean School, located in Seaford, is an innovative educational choice offering individualised learning for students with physical disabilities and complex health impairments.
Our transdisciplinary teams work collaboratively with families to identify learning priorities, set goals and develop individualised learning plans for every student.
The transdisciplinary teams at Nepean consist of teachers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, registered nurses (RN1), music therapists and social workers who work together to design and implement engaging learning programs for all students.

Selection Criteria
SC1 Demonstrated ability to proactively undertake a range of maintenance duties including some trade experience relevant to the role and co-ordinate contractors when necessary.
SC2 Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of people in a working environment.
SC3 Proven ability to use highly developed organisational skills to investigate, prioritise, take appropriate action and address maintenance and grounds issues as they rise.




SC4 Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as a member of a team, to follow instructions and take on responsibility and to work independently without direct supervision, be self-motivated and show initiative.
SC5 Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and practices.
SC6 A robust ethic and a sense of pride in efficiently completing work to a high standard and in a timely fashion.
Role
To work cooperatively with the Principal and Facilities Manager in the management of maintenance of school buildings, grounds.
plant and equipment.
Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
Complete maintenance, modifications and repairs to school equipment
Complete maintenance of the school grounds
Complete daily maintenance of the swimming pool
Coordinate purchase of items for the above
Ensure compliance of safe work practices within the principles of Occupational Health and Safety
Organise work priorities with the Principal and Facilities Manager
Undertake other related duties as requested by the Principal and Facilities Manager
Work flexibly and reliably within tight guidelines and with minimal direction in a team environment
Operate in a skilled, courteous, efficient manner at all times respecting confidentiality
