We are now seeking an experienced Portfolio Project Controls Lead AU/NZ to establish a best-practice internal project controls assurance function.
This critical function will be key to ensuring the successful delivery of one of Australia's and New Zealand's fastest-growing renewable energy portfolios.
This role provides a unique prospect to operate at the intersection of project delivery, finance, commercial management and executive leadership, providing independent oversight and assurance across a growing portfolio of nationally significant renewable energy projects.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the review and assurance of project controls across INTEC's Australia and New Zealand portfolio, identifying risks, challenging assumptions and providing reporting and recommendations to Project Directors and the Senior Leadership Team to improve governance, project certainty and commercial outcomes
More than a traditional project controls role,



you will provide independent assurance across cost, schedule, risk and portfolio performance, ensuring executive decisions are supported by accurate, timely and meaningful project intelligence.

You'll establish a consistent project controls framework across Australia and New Zealand, providing independent oversight of project performance enabling confident, evidence-based commercial and delivery decisions.

Establishing best-practice project controls, governance and reporting standards.
Providing independent assurance across project cost, schedule, risk and change management.
Challenging forecasts and identifying emerging risks and opportunities.
Delivering meaningful portfolio reporting and insights to support executive decision-making.
Driving continuous improvement across project controls systems, processes and capability.
About You




You're a strategic project controls expert who understands that great governance isn't about producing reports, it's about giving leaders the confidence to make the right decisions at the right time.
You'll Ideally Bring
Extensive experience in project controls, project services or commercial management within EPC, infrastructure, energy or construction.
Demonstrated expertise in cost management, planning, scheduling, forecasting and project reporting.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), critical path analysis and portfolio-level reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related discipline.
Most importantly, you are a trusted advisor who can translate complex project data into meaningful business insight and influence decisions that improve project outcomes.
